Brief Description of Project: A simple act of caring creates an endless ripple that comes back to you. This is the premise that dictates the design of the Ripples Children Centre. The center houses both an educational child rights institute, as well as a museum that highlights human rights issues for all. The impact of the world, the environment and family on a child have wide ranging implications to how their future unfolds. children have the right to education, knowledge of what happens around them and also the right to voice their concerns about what happens in their worlds. The Ripples Centre is a place for both education and play. The design of the building and landscape take care to create large and small spaces that welcome children of all age groups.
