This is Rosa, your Executive Director at CASA, I wanted to show you how easy it was to upload an image and some text on our new blog!
Above is a picture of the Brick Works here in Toronto. The Brick Works is where Toronto got its bricks for over more than 100 landmarks! It is a fantastic location full of Urban Artwork as can be slightly displayed on the image above. Currently the Brick Works is owned by Evergreen, a non profit organization. Their plans are to develop this site into a Cultural Center that will focus on the environment.
Evergreen Brick Works will be an education centre addressing the themes of nature, culture and community. It will be a destination for families and individuals to enjoy a natural refuge, while sampling a rich offering of programs and services - from gardening workshops, heritage tours, and clay-making and organic food markets, to a retail nursery, demonstration gardens and leading-edge green design techniques.
Well I've uploaded some other pictures taken by Nick Kozak.
Enjoy.
